The entrance porch has plenty of room for ski equipment, boots and jackets and there is also a drying room and washer/dryer. Upstairs houses the large open plan and high-ceiling kitchen/dining/lounge, with a kitchen island breakfast bar seating 4, an 8-seat dining table, large sofa, flatscreen TV and real fire place.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, oven, dishwasher, large fridge-freezer, coffee machine, toaster, microwave and a wide range of cooking pots, pans and utensils, crockery, cutlery and glasses for all occasions.
Within walking distance of the chalet are a handful of authentic Japanese restaurants which serve great food and wines at excellent prices. A 5 minutes drive away is the Westin Rusutsu resort for more upscale international fare.
There are also hot spring onsens close by if you would like a day off from the slopes, and in summer there are 5 golf courses in close proximity, rafting, mountain biking, hiking and an amusement park.
