Hokkaido in July

The average temperature in Hokkaido in July this year is between 25 and 17.  There are not many rainy days in Hokkaido so the climate is refreshing and comfortable here, despite that the mainland in Japan has a rainy season which causes humidity in the air.

July is the best time to see the lavender field in Furano. Lavender is blooming for one month from the beginning till the end of July. Also, during this month there are plenty of seasonal fruits and vegetables such as yubari melon, corn, and asparagus. So It’s a great time for sightseeing and tasting of the local harvest.
